We all know what it takes to convince yourself to get out the door and walk into the gym. But then, seeing them show up day after day, it's so motivating for me as an individual and as a business owner too. Like, I'm creating the space where they feel safe to come into. To see the excitement on their faces and knowing that they leave with that glow, and hopefully, they just spent the best 35 minutes of their day with us, right? You just want them to love it as much as you do. And if you really love what you're doing and you love the workout, that sticks with people.
I just want everybody to feel what I felt after that first Basecamp workout. And you get them in there, you get them to experience it, and they're hooked. We have an awesome community of members. What I love about Basecamp is you can be 15 years old and you can be 75 to 80 years old, and fit in. It's the fitness enthusiast and it's the beginner. And so what Basecamp allows you to do is step in and go, "Hey, do it at your level. Just do you today, and every day you'll surprise yourself."
This is a relationship business, and building those relationships and having those sticky relationships where people come for community but it feels like family. And so they feel like they belong here, and they want to be here, right? It's their second home. And so I think when you can encompass that and have that feeling inside the studio, it's hard to fail.
We get to be there with the people from day one to help them feel successful, celebrating their successes and their milestones. The strong start, whether they made a commitment to come eight times or ten times a month, and they did that, that's something to celebrate. You're empowering them, you're building them up, you're letting them live their healthier, stronger life, and that just obviously bolsters their self-esteem.
It's kind of hard not to love my job. I mean, I get to be around people that are working out, that come in. I'm the best part of their day, and to make an impact in their life and change people's lives, it's why I got into fitness, it's why I love fitness, and plan to be in it as long as I can be. Being a Basecamp owner and going to work every day just fills my cup. I don't dread it. I look forward to every day. I look forward to meeting the new people, hearing their stories, how fitness has changed their life, and being able to be a part of that is... couldn't ask for more.
Collective Wellness Group has officially unveiled a new brand, Sumhiit Fitness, at a corporate-owned studio in Crows Nest, Sydney.
Known as Basecamp Fitness in the USA, the business will operate under the name SUMHIIT Fitness in all international markets, including Australia.
Self Esteem Brands, the parent company of a global portfolio of fitness, health and wellness franchise brands, announces the official launch of SUMHIIT Fitness, its first studio brand available for franchising worldwide. The brand was officially unveiled this week at FIT Summit in Singapore.
